Katrina Grubert
Katrina Grubert, LMT, BA/MA Education
After working in the field of education for over 20 years as a classroom teacher and/or university academic advisor, Katrina was inspired to become a massage therapist and completed the program at COCC in 2018. Since then, she has been working here as an LMT and has recently joined the teaching staff of the massage program at COCC.
Depending on the client’s needs and goals for treatment, she incorporates a variety of techniques both western and eastern in origin: Swedish massage, therapeutic massage, sports massage, cupping therapy, Shiatsu, and Thai.
She enjoys being part of the team at NW Crossing Chiropractic and recognizes the value of the team approach when it comes to patients’ healing journeys.
She has lived in Bend since 2018, after almost 20 years of life on the other side of the Cascades in Corvallis. Prior to that, she lived in rural southeast Ohio. Some of her happy places are found hiking, practicing yoga, salsa dancing, and seeing live music.
